All Neleman wines are crafted from certified organic grapes. We only add Sulphur dioxide (SO2) as a preservative to maintain the wine's freshness. The wine is cleared with bentonite, a natural clay.
Absolutely! All Neleman wines are vegan-friendly as we do not use animal protein to clear our wines.
Yes, all Neleman wines are certified organic. We do not harvest or use grapes treated with pesticides or herbicides. Our practices are annually audited by the CAECV, the organization that certifies the European organic seal.
We do not suffer from major pests except for the grapevine moth and we manage it using pheromone-based sexual confusion techniques.
Yes, all Neleman wines are gluten-free.
Yes, our winemakers decided to use Sulphur in our wines to maintain the quality from the time of bottling until you open it. Quality standards mandate the use of sulphur, but organic regulations limit the amount we can add. Consistent with our philosophy, we often add as little as possible, typically up to a maximum of 1/3 of the amount permitted in conventional wines.
